The Dragon Horde

A single piece of solid hardwood with a choice of walnut or oak, with a bevel finish, wax and polish. This has been carefully recessed to make space for seven individual dice in their own compartments, perfect for a set of standard size polyhedral dice for tabletop roleplaying games.
Inside is a felt underlay and a foam roof for each compartment, ensuring your dice are snugly enclosed with no rattling.
The dragon sculpture is made from resin, finished with acrylic airbrush and matte varnish and the whole topper is flush mounted to the dice box.
The backer mat is made from high-density corkboard and can be custom engraved.

The Dragon Horde is our premium dice box made with solid hardwood and topped with a resin dragon sculpture finished in metallic paint and varnished. This item was Mythical Vault’s first product, launched with a successful Kickstarter campaign in July 2023.
The Dragon Horde is manufactured on a request basis when we have artisan availability. We are currently expecting to have availability at the beginning of 2026. If you would like your very own Dragon Horde Vault, register your interest via email through the Contact page.
This hand-finished dice vault is made from a single piece of hardwood and topped with a resin sculpture dragon. The vault is secured with strong neodymium magnets, where your dice rest on felt liner and are snugly secured with foam infill. Comes in a high quality outer box to transport to game nights where it will elevate your play experience.
Available in walnut or oak wood, with the dragon sculpture painted in your choice of copper, silver or gold and varnished and with optional engraving.

DISPLAY BRACKET
We offer a handmade bracket designed to fit the Dragon Horde dice box and stands it upright for table display and has a hole for wall mounting. Made entirely from your choice of oak or walnut hardwood to match your dice box.
DRAGON SCULPTURE
We also offer the unique dragon sculpture on top of the box as an unfinished model ideal for miniature artists. We also offer the box separately to install the dragon sculpture after it has been painted in your own style.
This sculpture is perfect for miniature artists who would like to bring their own style to the dragon, potentially mounting it as a standalone piece for display.
You can purchase the sculpture and the dice box with sculpture recess separately, so your finished dragon can be installed after painting with a simple adhesive process. This removes some of the difficulty of painting while avoiding the quality hardwood until after the dragon is fully finished.
